Stewards:
your co-workers who are elected by you to be the union representatives in each area of the workplace. Your steward is the first one to turn to when you have a problem on the job, and is responsible for knowing the contract and seeing that, on a day-to-day basis, your rights are being respected.

Zone Representatives: coordinators for larger areas which may include several steward districts.

President:
your local has a full-time President who is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the union, as well as chairing executive board and membership meetings, assisting in grievance settling, negotiating contracts, and encouraging workers  interested in organizing.

Executive Board: along with the President and the Zone Reps, the executive board includes the Vice President, Trustees, Financial and Recording Secretaries, and the Sergeant at Arms. These officers are responsible for monitoring the finances of the local, keeping track of decisions at
